Olympstroy signed a contract worth 13 billion roubles with Mostovik, an Omsk-based company, for Imereti Lowland road construction in Sochi

This announcement was made by Mostovik’s press service. Mostovik beat out six other companies from Moscow and Krasnodar to win a general contractor tender. Tender conditions stipulated that the company must perform the design and survey work within two years, and then commission 40 kilometres of ready-to-use roads from Sochi to various Olympic sites. The major part of  these projects, according to the contract, consists of constructing a road network with outdoor lighting and an automated traffic control system. (ITAR TASS, 09/28/2010)
